If you want to play Fleet Combat Online, you will need to enlist. Enlisting is free and we don't even ask for much information from you. You do need to have a valid email address though so we can send you an activation code.
First, choose a unique username that you will be known by in the game.
Then enter your email address and a password.
The password must be at least 5 characters and contain at least one character that is not a letter or number like ! or ( or -, etc.
You are now an Ensign. As you engage in battles, you will gain points. These points allow you to add ships to your fleet and will raise you in rank. You get points whether you win or lose the battle, but of course you gain more if you win.
As soon as you enlist, an email will be sent to the address you provided with an activation code. The email contains a link that you can click on to activate your account. If you don't want to use the link, then just go to the activation page and type in your username and the activation code from the email. Once your account has been activated, you can start playing.
