Join A Game

Once you have your fleet configured the way you want it, it is time to join a battle.

You can see the list of open games by clicking on the link that says browse games. Any battle that has been created, but not yet started will be listed here. You can click through the list of games and see if you can find one that you like.

Each game has a command point limit, meaning you can only assign up to that many command points worth of ships to the battle. It is OK if this command point limit is above or below the size of your fleet. If the CP limit for a game is LOWER than the size of your fleet then you will not be able to assign your entire fleet to this battle. If the CP limit is HIGHER than the size of your fleet, then you may be up against players who will be more powerful than you.

If you do not see any games in this list, then none are looking for players at the moment. You can try again later, or you can create a game instead.

When you click on the name of a battle, you are taken to a screen showing the other players in that game as well as who has been invited to play. There will be three buttons on this page:
Join Game
Start Game
Launch Game Client

The first one (Join Game) should be available for you to click. The other two will not. The game can only be started by the host and only when the game has reached its minimum number of players. You can only launch the game client once the game has started.

If you want to join this battle, click the join button. You will be taken to a screen where you set up your initial orders for the battle.
